Accessible Living at Ironstone Estate Hunter Valley Group Accommodation

At Ironstone Estate, in beautiful Lovedale, New South Wales, we are strong believers that our relaxing getaway facilities must always be inclusive and accessible to all. Both large-group accommodations on our private vineyard property are spacious and entirely ground level. For the most widely accessible option, we recommend one of our two lovely accommodations, The Lodge.

The Lodge is a comfortable self-contained accommodation with sizeable kitchen and living areas, a covered outdoor deck, and a cozy open fireplace, among many more luxurious features. Six bedrooms, each with ensuites, are tucked away into a separate wing, allowing for a private retreat when desired. With stunning views of green vines and fresh grapes, and a scenic mountain range in the distance, you can’t beat the feelings of peace and serenity that Ironstone Estate is proud to provide.

At The Lodge, the first bedroom with an ensuite is fitted to be entirely accessible and wheelchair friendly (both bedroom and bathroom). The shower is spacious, with room for mobility devices. The toilet is equipped to be accessible for all. Grab bars are installed, and there is lots of extra space within both rooms for mobility devices to reach each fixture.

We often have had the opportunity to host respite care groups at our scenic vineyard property, as The Lodge is so adaptable to varying needs. Many past Ironstone guests, within all kinds of groups and families, have gotten use out of our accessible facilities. We are happy to provide these features so that everyone can enjoy our charming Hunter Valley vineyard getaway.

If you’re interested in hearing more about how The Lodge can fit the accessibility needs of you or your loved ones, feel free to get in contact with us for a chat at any time. We are happy to discuss in more detail how we can be a great fit, so that you can enjoy your vineyard-hopping, region-touring, unforgettable Hunter Valley vacation to the fullest.
